Welcome to Pakistan! Upon your arrival at Islamabad International Airport, a representative from Snowcap Adventures will warmly receive you and transfer you to your hotel in the capital city. Islamabad, nestled at the foothills of the Margalla Hills, is known for its clean streets, lush greenery, and modern infrastructure, making it an ideal starting point for your adventure into the spectacular mountains of northern Pakistan.
After checking into your hotel, you will have time to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore some of Islamabad's famous attractions, such as Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, Daman-e-Koh, or enjoy a stroll through one of the city's vibrant markets or cafés. In case of road travel, the drive from Islamabad to Chilas takes approximately 8–10 hours via the Karakoram Highway, passing through scenic valleys, river gorges, and mountain tunnels.
